The unique, handmade, brass or aluminium case surrounds a dial design based on a stellar measuring and guiding eyepiece used in a telescope. A linear scale crosses the dial, while the outer edge is used to determine right asension positioning. While this optic has now been superceded by digital imaging technology, utilization of radial & linear scales in this way provides hour & 5 minute markers and a connection to the greatest timepieces of all; the stars.
